Canada Gave Her a Stage. Sierra Leone Gave Her a Mission.

Tara didn't go to Sierra Leone looking for a cause.

She went and the cause found her.

She saw what was happening to mothers. She felt the weight of it in a way she could not put down. She came home to Canada and waited — waited for someone bigger, more resourced, more connected to do something about it.

And then she realized: nobody was coming.

"I realized that I was waiting for others to do it. I realized that nobody was gonna come do it and I needed to get up and do it myself."

So she did.

She founded Freedom Tree in Canada — based in Calgary, working in Sierra Leone and with First Nations communities across the country. She stood on stages at Wealth Genius events and told the story, plainly and without flinching. She found partners. She found donors. She found people who, like her, could not look away once they knew.

And she built something real.

Three clinics. Two schools. 8,000 lives. Thousands of graduates. One baby named after her in a village in Sierra Leone.

Canada gave Tara a platform. Sierra Leone gave her a purpose.

And now, from stages across this country, she is giving both to everyone who is willing to listen.

Listen. Then act. Support Freedom Tree.
